Level sensors are used to measure the liquid level in a leachate sump, a gas condensate sump, or a storage tank / pond.  These units operate by measuring the pressure at the location the sensor is located.  This pressure is translated into a 4-20 mA signal used by the control system to calculate the liquid level.  The sensor compensates for the atmospheric pressure in the sump to account for any inaccuracies caused by changes in barometric pressure and / or active gas extraction systems.

Sligo Systems offers two types of level sensing technologies:

Submersible

- Familiar Technology

Above Grade

- No Electronics In Sump

- Easy To Service
